Q: What is the name of this lovely song used in this season 3 promo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQKD-xd3 ... re=related ? Its driving me nanas.
A: We pulled it from our music library. Most of that music is really cheesy but that one kind of jams eh? I don't know the title at the moment, remind me later and I'll check when I get to the office.
Quest-ion: Are you behind the photoshopped smiling in the projects you work on?
A: Mostly. I kind of stole that idea though. Jon, the other editor first did it when Tim died of limp lip. I couldn't help myself.
Q: i wanted to say i admire your work in Suburban Street Rockers. do you still dance?
A: Thanks! I'll throw down a windmill here and there when aggressively peer pressured.
Q: DJ Douggpound, where do you get your DJ tools and vocal-shouts from? They're all really funny. I've been looking for "pace".
A: Limewire. 4 real. Didn't put a lot of thought into it. PACE
Q: I know you've probably been asked this before, but what program do you use for editing?
A: Yes, this is the last time I'll answer that question. FINAL CUT PRO, doy!!! Also After Effects. DUH!
Q: Do you have any relationship with Flying Lotus, seeing as he made a song or two for Tim and Eric? Do you like anyone else on Warp Records? And if you do have a friendship with him, and you do like Warp, do you think he could get you a record deal?
A: I met him once. Very nice man. Huge Aphex Twin fan... I like autechre and Broadcast a lot. Never tried to get on that Label. I sent a CD to Rephlex in like 1999 tho. (no response)
Q: 1) Do you guys get to hang out in town the night after a show? (not sure with your tight travel turn arounds). If so, does anyone get recognized, and what was the weirdest experience with a fan or fans.
2) What were Tim and Eric's impressions about Detroit (Royal Oak)? Was it a good time, good show, crazy crowd? (I may be related to someone who pushed her way to the front row to keep yelling Eric's name. Let's say she may have been slightly intoxicated). Did Eric have anything to say on that one (he did on stage!)
A 1: That's 3 questions dick! Sorry so mean! :P Well, the tour was a LOT of work, so we got to hang out when possible, not every town. We would usually hang out somewhere near the venue so yes, we'd get recognized sometimes. Too many weird experiences to point one out.
A 2: That was a great show. I met some cool people, it was one of my favorite stops on tour. There's always a few drunk people up front being obnoxious. No big deal.
