Ugh! God! I'm so excited for this. I don't even know what to do with an awesome show episode that long?! Should I go get tea? Should I call a friend and discuss the first 11 mins???

On a serious note, i'm sure I just might cry my eyes out and/or leap from the top of an office building. (in the style of t&e in the Rascals episode ::rascal::) Anyone wanna join me? ;)

Btw, is it a two parter as in a 30 min time slot? Or is it one half this week and one half next week?

So what was the preview like? Is it available online anywhere? This was the first time I missed the preview after the episode. And what did Tim & Eric say about the finale in interviews?

And yes!! It's a full half hour! 12:30 - 1:00! OMG I can't wait! (cue the Eric picture)

T&E stated that...

POTENTIAL SPOILER (unless the boys were joking):

The ending would mirror the ending of "The Godfather", in which the entire cast is shot to death. XD
I personally think it was a joke.

As for running time, my guess is 22 minutes.

i have a feeling they will all die in some way
If you didn't care what happened to me,
and I didn't care for you,
we would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain,
occasionally glancing up through the rain
wondering which of the buggers to blame
and watching for pigs on the wing.

I'd take a half hour plot featuring every sitcom finale that can be fit into the show. The supporting cast put T&E on trial but it's all a dream inside a snowglobe and they go back to their home planet but the show is shut down and they move to New Hampshire only to go to college and get married and then the Korean War ends and Cheers closes and then they die.

Damn, you know your series finales.

It really does sound like a great idea.

I'll admit, I have a fascination with finales. I'll watch the finale of ANY scripted show, even if I never saw the show before or if hate the show. I mostly like the moments when the audience claps insanely, or when a main character dies, or when a terrible finale occurs. Remember the finale for "Full House"?

If anybody hasn't seen the finale for "That's My Bush!", I highly recommend it.

Oh God, I remember that. Michelle got amnesia.

The final episode of "Saturday Night Live" (in 1980, when they assumed that the fifth season was the last) was pretty classy. The entire cast and crew walks out of the studio, and turns off the "ON AIR" sign. Wonder how the world of TV comedy would be different now if it really ended there. No Eddie Murphy the next year, no Church Lady, no Mike Myers, no Jimmy Fallon (not that I'd complain), no Billy Crystal as Sammy Davis Jr., etc etc....

details came up on their facebook, would post picture but topic is owned by s.o.j., so i'll let him play catch up

i'm half-chub since their advertising it as "Season Cinco Finale" and not "Series Finale" :D

Wow! I totally forgot about that SNL finale and I was born in '88.

Considering the title of this episode, I bet it's just gonna be the one thing we've all wanted: Wareheim directed porn with Viggo Mortison and Paul Rudd as the hot, bulky, naked male leads who have a fetish for bondage masks and whips...

Oh..erm, Or that could just be my idea....Right, I'll see myself out. Heh :-[

Oh God, I just saw the preview of this ep, and it's gonna be a stomach churner for sure.... o_O

And the preview only says "Season Finale". I'm hoping that Season Six will come after the first season of Brule is done....

Well, it's a season finale AND a series finale. ;)

Plus, "Check It Out" is basically season 6. ::brule::

I'm going to admit that I don't have any of the seasons on DVD.
:O

But I'll definitely be buying a box set with all the seasons if they release one!!!!!!!!!!!! Kind of excited now.

Yeah, so I stayed up and watched it again, and I'm pretty upset right now. :'( :'( I guess it's safe to say my heart hurts pretty bad, too...

I'm not sad because I think Tim and Eric are going away or anything...Tim and Eric are going to be more popular and crazier than ever...there's going to be DVDs, tours, Awesomecons, a billion-dollar movie, and more geniuser-than-genius Funny or Die Presents films, 'cause according to Tim's Twitter they're filming 'em for FODP Season Two!! (Gawd, their work on there is....FRACKIN' APOCALYPTICALLY-BRILLIANT!!) No, Tim and Eric will remain awesome, and great, and creative...what really upsets me (and this is what got me crying the first time I saw last night's finale) is this: WHAT will become of Ron Austar, David Liebe Hart, Richard Dunn, James Quall, Palmer Scott, Ruth Carr and all the other great players (the great and talented men and women that were the backbone of the show, in other words) we grew to know and love? Now, this is nothing against Steve Brule and John C. Reilly, not AT ALL, but: he's one of the most respected, (rather) well-known, and award-winning actors in Hollywood, and HIS character gets his own TV show? Yes, I know Brule is Tim and Eric's most famous character, and I love him too....but what about a Dunngeon or Gettin' It Dunn spinoff for Dick Dunn (I know, he has all those cameos on late night comedy talk shows and the ocassional commercial, but really...)? Or adapt David's Junior Christian Science Bible Lesson Program or something similar for non-public access television? Don't get me wrong, I CANNOT FRIGGIN' WAIT for Check It Out! with Steve Brule's premiere in two weeks...I'm just worried about everybody else. I LOVE THESE GUYS, as I'm sure all of you do too...it's gonna be hard to say goodbye. GOODBYE, AWESOME SHOW, AND THANK YOU FOR INSPIRING ME!! GREAT JOB!! XD :'( XD :'( XD :'( XD :'(
