And yes!! It's a full half hour! 12:30 - 1:00! OMG I can't wait! (cue the Eric picture)

The supporting cast put T&E on trial but it's all a dream inside a snowglobe and they go back to their home planet but the show is shut down and they move to New Hampshire only to go to college and get married and then the Korean War ends and Cheers closes and then they die.

The final episode of "Saturday Night Live" (in 1980, when they assumed that the fifth season was the last) was pretty classy. The entire cast and crew walks out of the studio, and turns off the "ON AIR" sign. Wonder how the world of TV comedy would be different now if it really ended there. No Eddie Murphy the next year, no Church Lady, no Mike Myers, no Jimmy Fallon (not that I'd complain), no Billy Crystal as Sammy Davis Jr., etc etc....
