TIM and ERIC need to stop they aren't even funny any more.

;)

They are hilarious on a master level!
Tim is a mad-man in that Chrimbus garb.
The over commercilization of the whole holiday was spot on.
I was a little concerned as to how the pacing of the show would work out. But even when I thought it wsa getting a tad slow I still really enjoyed watching all the people in the live audience crowd. Turns out I didn't need to be. It had a great flow and great twists! Every thing with Carol and Mr. was priceless. Deevee is like Grum to me; but more horrifying. I loved him. I remember firs seeing the poster for the special and wondering, " what the actual fuck is that thing?"

It really was a cool feeling when you found out Larry was not Larry, but Gary. And when Deevee's identity was revealed!

I almost died of happiness.

The way they were advertising the special for the DVD during the special annoyed me at first I'll admit, but it got better and better with each unnecesarry mention. Great advertisement technique! And SonofJoy, it perplexed me too when I noticed the phone number on the screen wasn't the cinco phone number (1-800-1599).

Deevee reading Tim and Eric's mind was disturbingly funny. and DeeVee's vain death mind reading might give me nightmares.

chrimbus had some very cinematic parts--Mr. Henderson cleaning his guillies was so gory but I LOVED it. And it just furthers my belief that Tim is a great actor with his return to the office to find Gary macking on Carol. The music and feeling in that scene was the best. (Tim also is capable of playing a very eerily convinving woman role (Jan Skylar, breadheads, Lonnie from Feminine Perspectives) and he and eric actually are great musicians)

This really did need time to sink in, and multiple viewings to fully appreciate it all. That is the beauty of Tim and Eric's comedy.
They can really make you think--about how absurd Chistmas can get at times.
I'm so happy that they went for this.
Literally the only thing I want for Chrimbus IS this DVD.
I loved how Eric used the "Fuck you, buy my dvd line" tgttm dvd-like.
(The lulling spray must be working) I am a little worried that when I get the dvd I will watch it and be tricked into buying more dvds. A never ending cycle, like a black hole.

Congrats to the whole star-filled cast!

And I'm really interested in Deevee now. Not the actor who played the older Deevee (no offense to his performance) but I would like to know who played that Hairy boy and I'm interested on how they came up with the suit.

::tim:: ::eric:: ::brule:: ::hart:: ::quall:: :(

And ::rascal:: ::chippy:: Too bad DL Hart's song didn't make the final cut. Mr Henderson did use a lyric from one of his songs to display his respect for carol.

Excellent write up and great thoughts, Rang!

Yeah, I like the black hole of buying that the DVD creates. Also, make note of Deevee's ability to create a DVD of a show that has yet to end and then factor in the idea that Deevee essentially created DVDs of his own death years before it occurs. He truly is magical.

The special put me in such a T&E kick that I dived into iDVD and created a Nite Live DVD as well as a DVD of the T&E Podcasts and Douggpound Poundcasts using the files I collected on my harddrive. I threw the Shrek segments and the Vodka trilogy on the disc as well since I had the space.

DeeVee may have even created DVDs altogether! That would explain the name. It all makes sense.

I'm trying to buy the dingus special (the overt advertising is working :) ) but I'm running into trouble and I have a couple of questions you might be able to help me with.

It says it went down fine and I even got a conformation email. Some things in the email are confusing me. ???

This is what it says:

Dear my first name my last name,

Thank you for your order from the Adult Swim Shop (website....). This is your electronic receipt which you should save for future reference. We suggest making a note of your order number(s) located right below each address to which you have shipped. If you find any errors in what you ordered or in your billing or shipping address, please reply to this note immediately with all corrections. We will send you a separate email notification when your order ships, complete with the tracking number for your package.

You can track the status of your order at any time by visiting the Order Tracking page at: https://www.AdultSwimShop.com/myaccount/orders.xml . At the Order Status login page, simply enter your Order Confirmation Number (located right below the shipping address) and your email address (private) {you aren't getting my pep peps addrerss!} to view the current status of your order.

It goes on to list details and such, a conformation of what I already know ::brule::

Does this look regular????
Rest in peace, Richard Dunn

Yeah, you're good. Thats just how the Adult Swim store rolls. They send an email of your order confirmation and billing receipt, then they send an email of your shipping confirmation. The emails are usually a few days apart, as there's a man in a warehouse somewhere getting the DVD off the shelf, hand wrapping it and driving it over to the post office on his way home from work.

That might not be how the warehouse side of things work, but its something like that.

Thanks.

I was gonna say.....

And while we're on the topic of warehousemen, I like how they included a longer version of that man with the long tail operating the forklift a la the Check it Out title sequence. :)

For your paranoia!

To anybody who saw the special live, how many of the commercial breaks weren't actually commercial breaks? Because I recall seeing quite a few intro/outros on my digital version

they had 3, after 12 minute segments
If you didn't care what happened to me,
and I didn't care for you,
we would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain,
occasionally glancing up through the rain
wondering which of the buggers to blame
and watching for pigs on the wing.

listen everyone, I'm drunk, but I just want to say that this is the best thing I've ever seen on tv and it's official - I would die in a freak accident involving placemats for my heroes, tim and eric.
I like the kind of makeup that makes me a star
