They are hilarious on a master level!
Tim is a mad-man in that Chrimbus garb.
The over commercilization of the whole holiday was spot on.
I was a little concerned as to how the pacing of the show would work out. But even when I thought it wsa getting a tad slow I still really enjoyed watching all the people in the live audience crowd. Turns out I didn't need to be. It had a great flow and great twists! Every thing with Carol and Mr. was priceless. Deevee is like Grum to me; but more horrifying. I loved him. I remember firs seeing the poster for the special and wondering, " what the actual fuck is that thing?"
It really was a cool feeling when you found out Larry was not Larry, but Gary. And when Deevee's identity was revealed!

I almost died of happiness.
The way they were advertising the special for the DVD during the special annoyed me at first I'll admit, but it got better and better with each unnecesarry mention. Great advertisement technique! And SonofJoy, it perplexed me too when I noticed the phone number on the screen wasn't the cinco phone number (1-800-1599).
Deevee reading Tim and Eric's mind was disturbingly funny. and DeeVee's vain death mind reading might give me nightmares.
chrimbus had some very cinematic parts--Mr. Henderson cleaning his guillies was so gory but I LOVED it. And it just furthers my belief that Tim is a great actor with his return to the office to find Gary macking on Carol. The music and feeling in that scene was the best. (Tim also is capable of playing a very eerily convinving woman role (Jan Skylar, breadheads, Lonnie from Feminine Perspectives) and he and eric actually are great musicians)
This really did need time to sink in, and multiple viewings to fully appreciate it all. That is the beauty of Tim and Eric's comedy.
They can really make you think--about how absurd Chistmas can get at times.
I'm so happy that they went for this.
Literally the only thing I want for Chrimbus IS this DVD.
I loved how Eric used the "Fuck you, buy my dvd line" tgttm dvd-like.
(The lulling spray must be working) I am a little worried that when I get the dvd I will watch it and be tricked into buying more dvds. A never ending cycle, like a black hole.
Congrats to the whole star-filled cast!
And I'm really interested in Deevee now. Not the actor who played the older Deevee (no offense to his performance) but I would like to know who played that Hairy boy and I'm interested on how they came up with the suit.
And
Too bad DL Hart's song didn't make the final cut. Mr Henderson did use a lyric from one of his songs to display his respect for carol.

) but I'm running into trouble and I have a couple of questions you might be able to help me with.
