I am going to see T & E this Monday and I have some ques

Postby kelzeeee » Fri Nov 07, 2008 11:07 pm

This Monday, Nov. 10th in Dallas @ The Loft (a small place)

1. How long do their shows usually run?

2. Which characters (if any) from the show do they bring with them on tour?

3. Are the venues usually packed?

4. Do they do any type of meet and greet, etc. afterwards?

5. Are they as hilarious live as they are on the show?

Thanks!

1. If I'm not mistaken, they tend to clock in somewhere around an hour-and-a-half.

2. On their most recent tour, it was Casey and His Brother, the Petite Feet singers; on their last tour, it was the Sports guys, and perhaps a few others I'm forgetting.

3. I guess it varies, but the two I've been to have been, as they were relatively small venues.

4. Usually, yes.

5. Abso-lutely. ;)

Thanks!

Also, what're the chances of Richard Dunn, Pierre, and/or DL Hart being there as well?

Unless you live in LA, probably pretty slim, but I suppose anything's possible.

Well, unfortunately I live in Texas. BUT I will just hope for the best (aka Richard Dunn).

Anyways, thanks for the info.

I'm gonna take a guess and say this Show is going to be what they tour with, and this is to sample the audience.

Expect it to be completely different then the last tour (which was amazing by the way, one of the best nights of my life)

I am sure I will have a blast. Do they allow cameras in their shows? Please say yes!

I live in Colorado.
It's soooo close to Texas, yet too far!
I don't have enough money to take a bus.
I am so sad.
Very sad.
I tried to make an elaborate plot to somehow get there,
but nothing seemed to logically work.
Oh well.

I think it just depends on who is available to take on tour with them. Definitely take a camera and definitely stick around after the show to meet them and get your picture taken with them (if you're into that).
I like you.

::chippy::

Omg, the show was GREAT!

Here's some of the highlights (sorry if you've seen their show like a bazillion times and are sick of hearing about it):

- the mix of almost every song from T&EAS,GJ right before they came out (where can I find that?!)

- the numerous things that were thrown at the audience. Pizza, hotdogs, tinsel, socks, VODKA (which got on my clothes and made me smell disgusting).

- T & E kissing during the song about not lying to your best friend

- all the clips from the new season that they showed in between costume changes

- finding out that Eric is really hairy

- all the Kidz Break songs

- Casey and his bro (though Tim does Casey better on the show)

- meeting Eric (who is soooo nice and sweet and cute in person) and getting my picture with him. There were TOO many people waiting in "line" to meet Tim (it was really a big disorganized crowd) so I didn't get to.

All in all, it was so AWESOME. They did a GREAT JOB. Ha

OH, and I forgot, they did some contest to win a Snuggler shirt. They played James Quall singing the Beach Blast song in the background and anyone within like... 10 ft of the stage wearing a T & E shirt got to go up on stage (dammit...) and they had to dance to win the shirt. And all of them sucked sooo bad, they all danced the same, made complete fools of themselves! The dude who won was the best of the worst and he sucked also!

And then when I met Eric, there were all these girls cutting in "line" and it was really rude. And some guy took a picture of me right in my face as a joke and it pissed me off!

Anyways, I will end this here.

LMAO!!! Yeah, the dude who won the dance contest was me....and yes, I know I sucked, I just figured T and E like odd body humor, so I played off that. I'm honestly surprised I won.

Damn... *akward silence*

Now I feel bad! I am probably just bitter that I didn't win the shirt. Haha

Sorry about that! At least you didn't embarass yourself like some of those girls did!

Sounds like the show was a mix of the last tour, with some new stuff

I wish I could of seen clips from season 4

as for the Beach Blast contest, at the philly show last year I was one picked to go up and I won too, but I won the Awesome Record (which is where you can find the mix of all the shows songs from season 1 and 2)

I hope you had fun, and you know I'll be at the next show in Philly

NOOO, don't feel bad...I would feel the same way if some douche just got on stage and showed his legs and won, and I just had to watch from a few rows back....but all in all, I think we can say, that was the greatest show to ever come to Dallas.

I don't like to brag, its just it was so much fun.

These are the bits they did:

1. Diarrhea (dancing with naked men costumes)
2. Kidz Break (all of the songs)
3. Casey and his bro (Choo Choo, Cops and Robbers, School song, Song for Mommy, and Barbecue)
4. Papa Johns
5. Red Dragon karate
6. The dance contest

(Don't think I forgot anything, but I may have)

And they mentioned they'd never performed in Dallas. Is that true?

Btw, your signature is hilarious. My favorite line is "Name a location that has not been in a wheelchair! What? Like you've never been asked that question before..." or something along those lines. Haha!
