Excellent episode. The only thing I didn't like was the alternate opening. I was really looking forward to hearing the opening theme again and it kind of threw off the pacing of the episode.

The best moment was the genital whacking, followed by Napple and the DLH song.

How does one gain access to myspleen.net? It's like a house without a door.

Can't wait to see it online!

As for the alternate opening, since this was technically episode 402 (401 airs next month) so I'm sure they originally intended to kick off the season with the original intro.

the episode was great,

I loved David, he's seems like he got some actual acting chops.

I was thinking the same thing. He looked like he was actually on the same level of comedy as them in terms of what they were trying to accomplish with the sitcom parody.

Just saw it! Fun stuff, 8.5/10 (rated 9 in the poll)
It reminded me of Eric! the sitcom found on the timanderic.com DVD. DLH shined in this one. While I loved the acting seminar segment, it felt more like a deleted scene from season 3 than an actual part of the episode.

My breakdown:
D-Pants - 8/10
Intro - 10/10
Snow Party (all segments) - 9/10
Thumpers - 7/10
DLH Song - 8/10
Napple - 8/10 (like the tie-in to D-Pants)
Acting seminar - 8.5/10
Richard's dancing - 10/10

Can't wait for next week's episode: Balls ::chippy::

So, I'm pretty sure I'm in love with Tim and Eric.
Just kidding, but it was awesome.
I loved the whole hot chocolate parts.

MrPopadopalis25: Just search for tim and eric s04e01 on google (don't know if it's ok to post links like in some foruns, although this is pretty much the same thing).

Really liked the episode, but yeah the sitcom bit kinda threw off the pacing (were they doing some Family Guy satire with the "reminds me of" thing?)
Lol, I liked how the apple even changed format in the proccess of becoming a Napple (wish ther ewere more "clones").Tairy Green bit did seem like leftover material but it still worked. Also enjoyed the bigger amount of doug-style (or just crazier t&e style) editing in most skits.
"Check this one out" ::dunn::

I was afraid the Tairy sketch was going to be all dried up, but it was probably the funniest one. The kid in the wheelchair's delivery of his name was priceless.

Dayumn, its hard being British. Not a sniff of a torrent in sight. Just newsgroup thingamies, and I have no clue what to do with those.

It was the same with season 3 :'(

I just saw a commercial for Balls...
It looks possibly even better than Snow.
Now I'm just too excited to wait for Sunday. ¬_¬

D-pants was gross, but the sitcom rocked. Tim pissing in a cup really got to me.

Can anyone identify who is in the middle of the back row: Between Ben Hur and Kazu. I know of everyone else but I can't for the life of me figure out who he is, even seeing him in the episode.

hooray, i managed to see it! David stole the show, especially when he mentions that the "ding dong" is down, complete with TGTTM style yellow translation at the bottom. Also Eric's **FFS** face when Tim does the coat thing and the way Tairy looks into the camera at the start of his bit were my favorite moments.

Sometimes I feel like the bits like D Pants are just put there to attract simpletons to the show. Bits like that, and the "Balls / Bloody Balls" thing from ages ago seem really forced. I dunno.

I think last season's opener was a lot more interesting, but I'm very fond of this episode. I loved Tim's weird couple-minute coat.. slapping.. fit.. It felt so right. And Richard Dunn.. Oh how I love that man.. ::dunn::

My friend walked in on me watching the awkward dancing climax at the end, she was weirded out beyond belief. It was perfect!

Now that I'm satisfied, I'll look forward to biting into a juicy napple and getting some rest. I could use the bowel purge.
