Tim and Eric Awesome Record Great Songs Vol. 2!!!

First time poster here! So Tim and Eric did an "Ask me Anything" on reddit last week and someone asked the guys (again I'm sure) about the possibility of an "Awesome Record Great Songs! Vol. 2" release. Tim answered:

"would love to see a Vol. II... so many great songs in seasons 4 and 5... I would start badgering Adult Swim for one. "

SO, if you are AT ALL interested in seeing this release happen, let's take Tim's advice and get badgerin'!!!

I think starting an online petition is a good idea too, but spreading the word on reddit and this board is a good start. I know you guys want official releases of some of the best TAEASGJ songs, remixes and extended tracks as well! (Maybe even official Pusswhip stuff!!)

According to my insider sources they lost a lot of money with the first album, printed too many and sold very little

I wouldn't be surprised if they just release it on itunes, if at all.

An iTunes exclusive sort of thing would be the best route. As much as I love AR,GS! Vol 1, I could never see it selling amazingly well. Save the plastic and release it digitally, perhaps have a very limited run for sale at the official site and on tours.

Well I went ahead and created a petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/timanderic/

I have no idea how this works so, just spread the word and try to get everyone you know to sign it. Post to facebook, twitter, other boards, etc...

The iTunes idea seemed like the best plan of action, so I added that to the "wordage" on the petition.

c'mon internets, let's make this happen!!! I want my brownie mountain and more Casey!!!

lets also badger them to release the "check it out" dvd instead of $250 venture brothers statues.

My gf & I are such big fans of the music, that for her birthday last year I actually ripped all the songs that where never released, from my dvd's and just complied it into mp3 format for our mp3 player.

I have never released this to the public, let friends borrow/listen to it, or sold it or anything like that, we are the only ones that have ever heard it or have access to it, so this isn't a breach of copywrite or anything! Don't want anyone to think that I'm doing anything highly illegal!

In light of this, I would still purchase either a digital copy or physical cd copy (which I would hope for) of an OFFICIAL Vol. 2 release!

Sadly, despite a lot of you wanting this to happen, there's still only ONE signature on the petition, and it's mine...

These tunes deserve to blast "officially" from our vehicles!

they never released vol. 1 in retail stores [believe me i looked] i'm 100% sure that if they made a retail release, even if it was just best buy & target etc sales would have faired much better.

i like physical copies of things whenever possible so i would definitely buy a copy of awesome songs 2 if it happens.
