I found it on the iTunes store (US), $9.99 for either SD or HD

Meanwhile on Zune (XBOX 360) SD is $9.99 and HD is $14.99

Vudo is only available in the US.

This is exactly why piracy is a service issue and not a price issue. My money is burning a hole in my pocket but the market has not been able to make the product I want available.

I did it! I watched the movie, my pep pep be damned! I managed to de-Rango the movie after my pepper fell asleep (he was teleconferencing in via Skype, remember).

Quick thoughts, I'll try to avoid spoilers:

Overall.... Great Job! T&E did what few other sketch comedy teams can do and made a movie that stayed true to their TV work AND was a quallity ::quall:: comedy film. I was afraid that the movie would be too episodic, like a bunch of episodes stitched together, but it actually worked quite well as a feature length movie. Lots of little elements early on set up moments later in the movie. Both Tim and Eric had their own stories going on within the main plot. All the secondary characters played great new supporting characters. I missed DIck Dunn, but I'm sure he was watching over the film.

fave moments:
* anything with Tim and his son
* the Shrim scene
* Anything with Taquito
* The fight
* The end credits
* the post credits scene

I'll discuss more of the movie for sure once I see it again, and once more members see it and want to chit chat about moments from the film. Right now, I have to take a shower.

Just saw the Tim and Eric $1,000,000,000 Movie. Like anything T/E, I'll need to see it 10 more times before I really have an impression. Jason totally stole the show for me. I don't think Thom Peetirs is letting the boys watch this one anytime soon.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and wanted to direct your attention to an important thread I posted in the "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job" section (link: http://www.tgttm.com/jefferton/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=7222), and an equally important post on reddit (link: http://www.reddit.com/r/TimAndEric/comments/ozhev/lets_badger_adult_swim_and_make_awesome_record/), in regards to getting a "Tim and Eric Awesome Record Great Songs! Vol. 2" released!

Tim himself said he'd love to see it happen, but we need to "badger" Adult Swim about it!

Sorry for "hijacking" the thread here, but this seems like the most active area of the boards right now to spread this info!

RELEVANT THREAD COMMENT: I LOVED B$M, had a big party (vegan shrimp?!) lots of peeps fans and non, good times!

I freaking loved the movie! It proves Tim and Eric easily can handle making movies. There were lot of classic awkwardness to it with a touch of dark humor. I loved the whole Reggie/Jeffrey thing. It was pretty hilarious how he awkwardly shifts his eyes, and has that pedophile-like look "I want you back" eyeing Jeffrey. I loved the dinner/shrim scenes, it reminded me so much of that part in Dumb and Dumber where Lloyd spiked Harry's coffee with Ex-lax.

I don't know if it was just me.. But I was honestly expecting a big "Great Job!" at the end credits scene. :(

Yeah, before seeing the movie I was torn on the lack of AS,GJ! elements. But once I saw it, they were all there: infomercials, PR firms, fake companies, a majority of the cast. However, everything was new. So no Cinco, "Great Job!" or anything else.

I think that had the movie been loaded with AS,GJ! stuff, it would seem a bit rehashy and lazy. So I'm very happy the movie was 100% original. Just imagine how lame the movie would have been if it were Beaver Boys, Casey and His Brother, Terry Greene. The frat boys would be hootin' and hollerin' if "shrimp and white wine" showed up.

A few more of my favorite bits:

• The Top Gun bit
• Taquito's yogurt man
• Dobis "That's Who We Are" We're Dobis P.R.
• Taquito: "My body's hot but I feel cold!"
"Wanna see where I LIVE? Wanna know where to get FOOD?"
• "Not a bad boy."
• "C'mere! Let me feast mah EYES on that boy!"
• Tim's son song
• Inbreadables restaurant - the whole concept
• Dobo better investigo
• The end credits music

Watched it saturday night through amazon on demand.

AMAZING! It certainly didnt let me down XD

I only watched it the once, and it was soo much too take in at one time, and with the kind of comedy (or anti-comedy?) that T&E do, it is so sutle & layered that 1 viewing just isn't enough to truly appricate everything it has to offer. So I'll wait until it hits theatres until I see it again, so my first viewing has enough time to really sink in, but just enough time that I won't completely remember all the classick moments (and there are MANY already!). That being said, I unfortunatly don't think that it's going to translate well to a masser audience. Not saying that's a bad thing, I love cult, I just think that this movie was "too" in line with T&E's normal sense of humor, which I love, but I know how polarizing they are. Even down to the added infomercials, just a bit much for some to find the humor in, I'm afraid :'(

The only gripes that I (and my gf) had was not enough songs & not enough Liebe! ::hart::
I do love the snippet that they left in of him complaining about them taking out all of his scenes lol
Hopefully they'll include them along with other bonus material on the juicy DVD that they will put out

Can't wait to check it out again (no pun intended ::brule:: ) in a theater setting!

My thoughts: (~~~may contain spoilers~~~)

I was assuming the movie would take on a fragmented vignette-like structure, but it was surprisingly linear with a lot of layered elements, so kudos for that. And while I concede that Tim and Eric's style works better in more compact doses where they can really put their comedy foot to the gas and floor it with this constant force, they managed to hold my interest for the full 90 minutes, which was one of my concerns. One thing though: I thought there was way too much cursing, just felt a little bit weird and off-putting for me. Sure, they had that greenlight to do pretty much anything and of course they took advantage of it while they could, I just thought they went a tad overboard w/ that. I'm okay with all the gore and the piercing, though. Go figure. Also, what was the purpose of that one fat guy who lived in the tarped-off area nearby Taquito's den? Cut him out of the movie and you lose nothing, really.

Fave parts that come to mind at this moment:
-The one Schlaaang animation near the into with that ambient nature sound that lasted too long.
-JJ Kelly scene with the pool. Had me in dry heaves. I Rewinded it three times and it just got funnier.
-When Damian Weebs' (Will Ferrel) floppy disk pile gets knocked over. "All this was organized.....now I don't know. " I don't think I've ever seen so many floppy disks in one place.
-Eric upon being introduced to the Taqutor: "Really looking forward to crunching some numbers on that Taqutor, Taquito."
-Mall fountain
-The two pauses to explicitly establish themes to the audience through presentations with Tennessee Luke and Robert Axelrod.
-Reg being pretty much okay with Tim usurping his son.
-The whole final 20 minutes was serene. Eric throwing all of the swords, the tiny one that Dun Dorr was interested earlier in particular, daintily at Loggia and the thugs was great. The celebration party for their own movie. Greenscreen at the end. I almost had to step away when DLH started talking about Gary Marshall- shit was getting too real. I'm pretty sure David wrote his lines.
-Funny names in the credits after Michael Gross advertises himself.

Could it have been better? Probably, but I consider this a big success regardless.
Rest in peace, Richard Dunn

Hey kids! Been a while.

We have a DVD/Blu release date: http://videoeta.com/movie/129672

May 8, 2012

Interesting thing is, Amazon lists the blu-ray as a 2 disc set! Not sure if that'll be so, considering two blus is a LOT of stuff. Probably going to be a combo pack with the DVD and blu in one case.

I loved the movie. I just saw it in theaters on the 2nd and saw it again earlier today. First screening, there were a lot of people, most of whom had already seen it. It was fun, and the audience had a great time. When I saw it today, there was a smattering of people in the audience that obviously weren't very familiar with T&E. It was kind of awkward, and not in a funny way.

Favorite parts:

-First and foremost, I love what a scumbag Tim is in the movie.
-Tim basically stealing Reg's son.
-Old lady torture.
-John Downey III
-The awesome way the mall setting complimented Tim and Eric's humor.
-Taquito's Song
-"Forgot about the wolf."
-The segments with Tennessee Luke and Robert Axelrod

I went with my pep-pep. I'm pretty sure most of the audience liked it. In fact, there was kind of a nice thing going because everyone sort of took it like a horror movie: When the most disturbing scenes occurred (Eric's dick piercing, the Shrim bath scene), the audience all let out a chorus of horrified scream-laughs, like clock work. It sort of reminded me of how people would scream when they heard the secret word on Pee Wee's Playhouse, which made me think of the audience participation in the infamous cult film, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Just imagine if Tim and Eric had a whole audience participation thing, complete with the screaming during most disturbing scenes as well as throwing things, dressing up in costumes, and yelling favorite lines? We should totally try to make that happen.

But as for walkouts, two people walked out angrily during the Shrim bath scene. Idjits. :X
"Maze...OHHHHH."
